2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 by O.CT Tuning

The Dodge Challenger is a sick car all on its own, but when tuning firms get their hands on a vehicle this seductive, the outcome is just pure beauty. O.CT Oberscheider Tuning has unveiled a new tuning package for the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 muscle car. While in its standard version, the 6.1-liter Hemi V8 engine develops a total of 425 HP, well OC.T has added a new compressor-kit that increases the output to 550 hp and 682 NM of torque. A dynamic change and certainly one to boast about!

O.CT Tuning has also added a new stainless steel exhaust system that performs quite pleasantly at normal speeds, but put the pedal to the metal and you’ve got a luscious sound reverberating out of the four pipes gleaming in the back of the car. In order to maintain a comfortable driving platform, O.CT Tuning has replaced the original AMI-suspension with a KW-coil over suspension. To finalize the added muscle, they have also added a new set of wheels.

The same modifications can also be applied to the Chrysler 300C Hemi SRT-8, with the addition of a new set of 22" wheels and a black-matte exterior paint.

Now consumers can receive the same sexy and powerful Dodge Challenger SRT-8 with even more bang for their buck making this a beautiful business arrangement.

2010 Dodge Mopar Challenger

While everyone is waiting for the 2011 Dodge Challenger, today the company decided to reveal the first details on a special-edition Mopar version for the muscle car. The new Mopar 2010 Dodge Challenger, arrives in Dodge dealerships next month and is priced at $38,000 for an automatic transmission and $39,000 for a manual transmission

Based on a Challenger R/T model, the Mopar version is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine and features a hood-venting system that adds to the mean look of the vehicle like a flaring nostril on a raging bull. Additionally the Mopar Challenger gets a cold-air intake, a front strut-tower brace with shock caps, and a unique engine cover.

Just off of a first glance alone, this Challenger looks very serious. The 20" forged heritage gloss-black wheels are a perfect partner for the Brilliant Black exterior color with contrasting Mopar Blue, Red, or Silver. On the exterior it will be distinguished by a black-chromed grille surround, a functional, vented T/A-style hood with vintage hood pins, and Mopar logos and graphics. On the interior it gets Katzkin leather seating, custom leather-wrapped steering wheel with baseball-style stitching, Mopar shift handles (T-handle for automatics, Pistol Grip for manuals), a serialized dash plaque with Mopar ’10 logo, and Mopar branding throughout.

2011 Dodge Ram 4500 ST Chassis Cab

Dodge announced today that the 2011 Ram Chassis Cab truck will be available at dealerships starting the end of May. For 2011, the pick-up will be available in three weight classes (3500, 4500 and 5500), three trim levels (ST, SLT and Laramie), and four cab-to-axle lengths (60, 84, 108 and 120).

The Ram 3500 Chassis Cab is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 gasoline engine that delivers a total of 383 HP at 5,600 rpm and 400 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm. The 4500 and 5500 models are powered by the legendary 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine with 305 HP at 3,000 rpm and 610 lb.-ft. of torque at only 1,600 rpm. There will also be a choice of three transmissions: 6-speed manual (diesel only), 5-speed automatic (gas) and 6-speed automatic (diesel).

The 2011 Ram Chassis Cab lineup includes all-new styling, offering a tougher more capable look with improved aerodynamics and fit and finish. To accommodate cooling requirements of the 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, the grille is enlarged over the light-duty application. The new grille mates to a taller hood that incorporates louvers on each side.

2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 Final Edition

This year a legendary car will go out of production. And the last 50 units will be built in a special edition: 20 Coupes, 18 Roadsters and 12 ACRs. The 2010 Dodge Viper Final Edition models will go into production this summer.

The Final Edition Viper is painted in an exterior Graphite Clear Coat color with a painted black center stripe traced in red. Viper Coupe and ACR Final Edition models include a black windshield surround. On the interior it will get a custom red accent stitching, red painted halo surrounds on the gauge cluster and bright stainless steel screws in center stack bezel. A numbered dash plaque (1-50) is located on the shifter bezel just above the unique Viper Final Edition floor mats.

2010 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak

Mopar announced today the Dodge Challenger Drag Pak built for sanctioned NHRA Stock, Super Stock and Comp Eliminator configurations.

The tuning house has also announced that interested customers who are willing to avail of this package can order them for a princely sum of $39,999.

The car is based on the SRT8 version and is powered by a 6.1 liter HEMI engine that comes in either a 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission. The car is painted in a retro Stone White paint scheme and Mopar engineers eliminated select production components and systems to reduce vehicle weight by approximately 1,000 lbs.

The Challenger Drag Pak also features unique drag-race components including: composite lift-off hood with functional scoop, Dodge Viper-style front seats, polycarbonate door windows, a light-weight cooling module with electric fan, manual rack-and-pinion steering, a special cable-operated deck-lid release, special light-weight front-brake assemblies and special cable-operated throttle linkage and pedal assembly.

No wonder the Challenger Drag Pak commands such a price; it comes with just about every available feature anyone can get for their Challengers.

2010 Dodge Challenger Furious Fuchsia

If you can remember Mopar’s muscle car color palette from the 1970s you should be familiar with shades like Plum Crazy Purple, Sassy Grass Green and Moulin Rouge; then the special edition 40th anniversary Furious Fuchsia Challenger will be right up your alley. Available as both an R/T and SRT8 model, the pink pearl Challenger will go on sale starting at $35,140 for an R/T model and goes all the way up to $45,150 for an SRT8.

The Dodge Challenger R/T Classic Furious Fuchsia wears a pair of Matte Black or Bright White side stripes running the length of the vehicle, just like in the olden days, however despite the name, the 20 inch polished aluminum heritage wheels wrapped in all season performance tires are straight out of the 21st century. Meanwhile the R/T has a classic egg crate style grill up front and a body color rear spoiler out back. The SRT8 version adds all new Pearl White leather SRT performance seats with Furious Fuchsia accents as well as a set of 20 inch SRT forged aluminum wheels finished in Satin Black and retro inspired chromed quad exhaust tips out back. Collectors will be most proud of the identification plaque on the dash indicating their car’s authenticity as one of 400 Furious Fuchsia Challengers.
