2010 Ferrari California Bi-Colore Special Edition

Ferrari will unveil a special edition California at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 2-4, 2010. Following the tradition of the Berlinettas of the 1950s and 1960s, the new California Bi-Colore will feature a “bi-colore” roof, with the car painted in Argento Nurburgring (metallic silver) with the roof and A-pillar painted in Nero (black).

Next to this, the special edition will be distinguished by forged 20" matte black wheels with titanium wheel bolts, as well a host of "extra-campionaro" factory-fit options from the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalisation Programme such as diamond-stitching on the rear seats and Cavallino stitching on headrests in Nero.

The Ferrari California is powered by a direct injection 4.3 V8 engine with 460hp, mated to a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox. It comes with the latest F1-Trac traction control system, a new multi-link rear suspension, and, of course, an innovative retractable folding hardtop that opens or closes in only 14 seconds.

2010 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti by Novitec Rosso

Novitec Rosso is saying good bye to the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti with a tuning package for the Ferrari’s 2+2 seater model. The package includes: new wheels, engine updates, a stainless-steel sport exhaust system, a new taillight design, and upgrades for the interior.

Starting with the V12 engine, Novitec Rosso managed to increase the output to an impressive 565 HP and 609 Nm at 5,300 rpm by utilizing a newly calibrated engine management system and the NOVITEC ROSSO stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system. The result is a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 201 mph.

For the interior the tuner is offering an ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel which comes in any color imaginable and any material, depending on the customer’s demand. To further customize the interior of the Ferrari, the tuner has provided the consumer with custom tailored seat designed to fit from the shortest to the tallest driver. They will even provide more lateral support or a lowered seat position.

The taillight system is comprised of the black NOVITEC ROSSO lamps and adds four round taillights, the reflectors, and the side markers. The car sits on three-piece NF3 alloy wheels in a combination of size 9Jx20 wheels in front and size 12.5Jx21 rims on the rear axle.

This tuning package from Novitec focuses more on the engine and the customization for comfortability then the original package for the Scaglietti back in 2006. The newer package provides 10 hp more than the original, but the original also provided sportier touches such as the pedal set, footrest, and a new high performance brake system.

2010 Ferrari Vettura Laboratorio HY-KERS

The Japanese are more than just sake and sushi; they know their way around cars too. And not just the Japanese ones, but as evidenced by Japanese tuner Premier 4509’s tuning package for the Ferrari F430, they know how upgrade an Italian sports car too.

Premier 4509’s Ferrari F430 package will only be limited to 300 units so it’s a safe bet that you need to fall in line to get one. Among the items included in the tuning kit includes a front bumper, sideskirts and rear bumper, and as an optional feature, a rear wing and exhaust tip, too.

The car also comes with 19-inch and 20-inch wheels on the front and rear, respectively. And if that’s not enough for you, the F430’s White Pearl exterior adds the finishing touches on a package that comes with just about everything you need to mod up your Ferrari F430.

2009 Ferrari 599XX

Ferrari started out their XX based Corse Clienti program with a track tuned evolution of the Enzo super car called the FXX, now it has the 599 GTB Fiorano inspired 599XX for their most privileged of customers to fool around in. The essence of both cars is the same; they were both designed for the exclusive clientele program and are both used for testing new racing technology. The 599’s engine now delivers a maximum output of 700 HP at a screaming 9,000 RPM and is mated to an all new SuperFast gearbox that is able to swap cogs in a mere 60 milliseconds.

The 599XX is characterized by an innovative system called the "High Performance Dynamic Concept" which has been designed to get the maximum performance from the vehicle by managing the combination of the car’s mechanical limits with the potential of its electronic controls.

Update 04/28/2010: As if we needed another reason to absolutely fall in love with the Ferrari 599XX again. This time, this amazingly luxurious supercar established a new world record on the 20.832 km Nordschleife circuit: it become the first ever production-derived sports car to break the 7-minute barrier. The sports car managed an impressive lapping time of 6 min 58.16 seconds. Seriously, can it get any better than this car?

2010 Ferrari F10

Ferrari revealed today the first official images and specifications for the 2010 Formula 1 race car. The model will be called F10 and will weight less that 95 kg.

The F10 will use a 2398 cm3 eight-cylinder engine with electronic injection and ignition mated to a semiautomatic sequential electronically controlled gearbox.

2011 Ferrari 599 GTO

The long-rumored Ferrari 599 GTO, based off of the 599XX, made its official debut today. The company describes it as "an extreme V12 berlinetta developed to a specific performance-oriented brief" and go a step forward to say it is the fastest road car ever. It will be limited to only 599 units and will be priced in the area of $450K. Those with the monetary backing and thirst for high speed action will be salivating at the opportunity to own one of these bad boys.

The Ferrari 599 GTO is powered by a V12 engine delivering a total of 670 HP at 8250 rpm with a maximum torque of 620 Nm at 6500 rpm. It rockets the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.35 seconds, while top speed goes up to 208 mph. Maybe the most impressive thing about the 599 GTO is the lapping time on the Fiorano test track: 1 minute and 24 seconds. For those of us keeping track, that’s faster than the Enzo’s time.

The sports car features new front splitter, side sills, diffuser and rear spoiler, a new vented hood, and ten-spoke, 20" wheels. It has a dry weight of 1495 kg and a weight-to-power ratio of just 2.23 kg/hp. The 599 GTO is also equipped with the latest, second-generation carbon-ceramic brakes which are lighter and offer better performance.

We dare any other automaker to try to top the performance of this maniacal machine. This car leaves McLarens and Porsches in the dust. Watch for the public debut of the Ferrari 599 GTO at the Beijing Auto Show. A conveniently chosen venue if we can say so ourselves. Major props, Ferrari. Maybe some time we can take this stunning beauty out for a test drive...pretty please (insert groveling here).
