The Hummer day .

All The Posts Today Will Be About The Hummer Cars Co.

2007 Hummer H3 Black Edition

The iconic HUMMER offering for Europe will be enhanced with the introduction of a new, exclusive, all-black HUMMER H3 which combines stunning style and excellent value with extras worth € 5.000,- fitted as standard. Just 50 examples will be offered and will go on sale by the end of this year. As with all HUMMERs sold through the official European importer the vehicles come with a four-year, 100,000 km warranty and European Roadside Assistance programme.

2010 Hummer H3 and H3T

Hummer announced today details on the 2010 H3 and H3T models. And there are some very "environmental-friendly" details. Both models will get E85 capability and new colors for the 2010 model year. The prices on the other hand remain the same as for the 2009 models.

All 2010 Alpha series’ models will be powered by a 5.3L V8 Flex Fuel engine rated at 300 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is mated to a Hydra-Matic 4L60 electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission. Is not much of a green car, but according to James Taylor, Hummer CEO: "This is just the first step in HUMMER’s evolution to offer responsible, yet highly capable all-terrain vehicles. Future models will be lighter, more efficient and will continue to offer the best blend of off-road capability and on-road performance."

Besides the new engine, the 2010 models will be offered with three new premium colors: Red Rock Metallic, Silver Stone Metallic, and Canyon Metallic

2009 Hummer H3T Sportsman

The second concept presented at SEMA Show by Hummer is H3T Sportsman concept based on the new H3T Alpha. The concept is powered by a 5.3L V-8 engine that thanks to the addition of new LS2 cylinder heads, a higher-lift camshaft and supporting components adds an extra 70 hp to the standard output, meaning a total of 370 hp.

It rides on 35-inch-tall BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires mounted on HUMMER Accessory 20-inch wheels and adds new HUMMER accessories including grille-mounted and custom low-profile front- and rear-facing roof-rail mounted Delta off-road lamps, a body-color upper grille and a matte finish fuel door.

2009 HUMMER H3 Moab Concept

Hummer will be presented at SEMA Show with two customized concept cars. The first of them is H3 Moab, a concept inspired by trails like Steel Bender, Moab Rim, and Poison Spyder.

Based on the 300-hp V8-powered H3 Alpha, the Moab concept combines a Rancho four-inch front suspension lift and a custom rear spring-over conversion inspired by current HUMMER engineering test vehicles.

the concept is painted in Canyon Metallic and also features a HUMMER Genuine Accessory lower grille mounted lamps and six Delta Xenon roof basket-mounted off-road lamps to provide lighting in all conditions.

2008 Hummer H2 E85

From the ’Better Late Than Never’ file, Hummer unveiled today a version of the H2 that runs on E85 ethanol fuel. The car brand known for being a fuel hog is getting greener. The H2 can actually run solely on E85 ethanol, gasoline or any combination of the two fuels. Other GM flex-fuel vehicles currently on the road are only able to run up to 85 percent ethanol (E85).

The latest developments that have enabled the H2 to run on E85 ethanol are being carried on to other vehicles in the Hummer line. The H3 will become E85 capable later in 2009. A four-cylinder turbo diesel engine is also being developed for the H3.

2008 HUMMER H3 Sensation

Even if Hummer’s sales were down 60% this June, GM launched a new special edition for the European market. Maybe the last one before the faith of Hummer will be decided.

The HUMMER H3 Sensation offers all the features that are standard for the H3 3.7 automatic, on which the model is based. These features include a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, cruise control, full underbody protection, fog lamps, a swing gate-mounted full-size spare wheel and StabiliTrak Stability Enhancement System.

Special characteristics for the H3 Sensation are a particularly distinguishing black or white paint, a unique body-coloured grille, a power sliding glass sunroof, black tubular side steps, black roof crossbars, an in-dash 6-CD changer and a Monsoon 7-speaker sound system. And the best news: all these options come at no extra cost! This means a saving for customers of approximately 4,000 Euros.

2008 Hummer HX Concept

With its unmistakable HUMMER design and a compact, go-anywhere driving ethic, the HUMMER HX concept challenges the hierarchy of the trail. HUMMER displayed the nimble, reconfigurable off-roader at the 2008 North American International Auto Show.

2008 Hummer Mountain Rescue

HUMMER has partnered with Mountain Rescue (England & Wales), to provide a specially modified vehicle for the UK charity.

UK Mountain Rescue celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2008 and to commemorate this landmark, the newly launched right-hand drive HUMMER H3 will support the charity’s busiest teams in England and Wales across the year. The hardy on/off road vehicle will carry both equipment and personnel as Mountain Rescue goes about saving hundreds of lives annually.

Hailed as the off-road vehicle – ‘like nothing else,’ the H3 is one of the most capable off-road vehicles on the market today. Recently introduced into the UK, the H3 is a smaller, more affordable and agile version of the larger H1 and H2 models. In addition to it’s iconic design, the vehicle boasts a number of advanced off-road features allowing the driver to enjoy full versatility in some of the most gruelling driving conditions nature has to offer.

2010 Hummer H4

As reported after GM unveiled the Hummer HX Concept at the Detroit Auto Show, a small model based on this concept will be unveiled in a few years. To be called H4 it will give the Hummer brand a vital weapon in the United States against premium-priced compact SUVs.

Under the hood there will be a choice of two engine choices, the GM Vortec 3700 3.7L I-5 (242 HP) and the GM Vortec 4200 4.2L I-6 (291 HP). The transmission choices will be an Aisin 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual. The H4 will be launched at the end of 2009 as a 2010 model.

The H4 has two versions, a 2 and 4 door version. They both are based on the same platform, and the charasteristics of the two versions are pretty much the same. However, the main difference, of course, are the number of doors and the roofline. While the 4-door version follows the 90 degree cut line above the rear window, like the H2, the 2-door version has a coupé like, dropping roofline, like showed in the HX concept.
