2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite

The last time we have seen the Honda Odyssey was when the Odyssey Concept was unveiled at this year’s Chicago Auto Show. Today, the Odyssey comes back into the spotlight as Honda has officially unveiled the 2011 Odyssey Touring Elite. Featuring a more exclusive appearance and new interior features, the 2011 Odyssey will go on sale this fall, continuing the tradition of the best-selling minivan in the U.S.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with three-mode variable cylinder management that has a fuel economy of 19/28 mpg (City/Highway). It gets a lower roofline (-1.6 inches versus 2010 Odyssey EX) and wider track (+1.4 inches) helping to create a sleeker, stronger, and more dynamic presence with improved aerodynamics.

New exterior improvements include HID front headlights, 18" alloy wheels, ventilated front disc brakes, power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators, and a power tailgate. For the interior, Honda has added a new Premium Audio System with 12 Speakers, Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System, high-definition connectivity, and split-screen viewing, but also leather-trimmed seating with heated front seats.

2010 Honda Civic

Redesigned in 2009, the Honda Civic gets refreshed exterior and interior styling features comprised of updated headlight and taillight combination; new alloy wheel designs for Civic EX, Civic EX-L and Civic Si; and updated seating cloth materials for a more premium interior feel. For the sedan version prices are ranging from $15,655 to $25,340, and for the coupe version from $15,455 to $24,255.

The 2010 Civic (both sedan and coupe versions) are powered by a 1,8 liter inline 4-Cylinder engine with a total output of 140 hp. The SI versions get a 2,0 liter engine with an output of 197 hp. The standard model get either a 5-speed manual transmission, or a 5-speed automatic one. The SI version 6-speed manual one.

The technologies line-up includes: Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure; side curtain airbags; driver’s and front passenger’s side airbags with a passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); and dual-stage, dual-threshold driver’s and front passenger’s airbags (SRS).

2010 Honda Civic BTCC

Honda (UK) and Team Dynamics Motorsport announced today the Civic BTCC rally car that will race the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship by Matt Neal and Gordon "Flash" Shedden.

The car will be painted in Championship White paint, Honda’s traditional racing color.

Also touring car fans will have the chance to win a one-off Civic Type R Mugen Concept car in a competition that will be running in participating Honda dealerships.

2010 Honda Jazz SI

Contrary to what some people might say, the Honda Jazz looks a lot more like a chic car than a sporty one. Nevertheless, the Japanese-based automaker still decided to offer an SI version of the Jazz to make it more appealing to the young and young-at-heart market segments.

The SI version will be available in two different engine variants: a 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter engines, both of which will be mated to a manual transmission. The car will then go on sale beginning April 1st with a price tag of just £12,835 ($19,200).

The new Jazz SI is distinguished by a new set of16-inch Chronos alloy wheels, a chrome sports front grille and rear spoiler, and Honda’s SI branding on the Jazz’s boot lid and glove box.

2010 Honda CR-V

The Honda CR-V SUV is entering the 2010 model year with refinements and upgrades to the exterior and interior, new features, better fuel economy, and more power. Prices for the new model will range from $21,545 for the CR-V LX 2WD version and will go up to $29,745 for the CR-V EX-L 4WD with Navigation package.

For 2010 the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine improve power output to 180 hp, a 14 hp increase. City/highway EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings increase to 21/28 mpg on 2WD models and 21/27 mpg on models equipped with Real Time 4WD - an increase of 1 mpg in both city and highway driving on all models.

On the exterior Honda added a freshened front fascia with a new grille and bumper design, a re-sculpted hood, and a new rear bumper shape. A 10-spoke alloy wheel design, standard on CR-V EX and EX-L, replaces the previous 7-spoke alloy wheel design. Interior improvements focus on new features and functionality. Bluetooth HandsFreeLink is now included on models equipped with the available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. Auto on/off headlights have been added to the CR-V EX-L and the front seats have wider center armrests on all models.

2010 Honda Civic Type R Mugen 200

In Japanese the word Mugen means unlimited, it is also the name of Honda’s in house racing branch that brought us the ultimate Mugen Type RR. Doing what they do best, the factory backed tuners are taking their big winged Civic Type R a bit further to create the special edition Honda Civic Type R Mugen 200 in celebration of their 2010 (BTCC) British Touring Car Championship racing efforts and will compete with vehicles like the Ford Focus RS and the Renault Mégane R26R off the track.

Destined exclusively for the British isles when it goes on sale this April, all 200 examples of the limited edition Civic Type R are covered in a Championship White finish accented with gloss black mirror covers and features exclusive Mugen equipment like bespoke front and rear bumpers with lower hanging side skirts, 19 inch alloy wheels, Mugen badges and Limited Edition number plaque and the all important (LSD) Limited Slip Differential.
