UPDATE 08/27/2010: This article has been updated to include more details on the 2011 IS. Check out some new photos of the IS after the jump.

The 3.5-liter V6 produces 268 HP at 6,200 rpm and 248 lb.-ft. peak torque at 4,700 rpm and is mated to a six-speed automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i).

2011 Lexus IS-F - US version

Lexus has unveiled details on their 2011 model year line-up, including the sports sedan IS-F. The 2011 IS-F gets an improved suspension, updated electronic power steering, and a Torsen rear differential.

The Lexus IS F is powered by a performance-tuned 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers a total of 416 HP at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 371 lb.-ft. at 5,200 rpm. This engine is mated to an eight-speed Sport Direct Shift transmission.

The IS-F is clearly differentiated thanks to its trapezoid-shaped front bumper fascia, a V-shape grille, hood raised on the center section, and a special wire-mesh pattern on both upper and lower grilles. Other standout features include large brake cooling ducts, a discrete silver, black, and blue "F" marque on the front fenders, and 19" wheels.

The interior of the IS F features an exclusive design treatment highlighted by aluminized composite trim, striking two-tone upholstery, aluminum-rimmed main gauges, unique steering-wheel treatment, and other special surface treatments.

2011 Lexus LF-A Nurburgring Package

The Lexus LF-A is already an exclusive super car in its own right. And as it the case when exclusivity begets more exclusivity, Lexus has announced that they are releasing a new track edition LF-A optimized for circuit driving.

Called the Nürburgring Package in reference to the world-famous race track in Germany where the legend of the LF-A came to life, this special edition LF-A will be distinguished by a fixed rear wing, larger front spoiler, sports tuned suspension and high grip tires.

The Lexus LF-A is powered by a 4.8 liter V10 that delivers a maximum output of 560 HP, but for the LF-A Nurburgring Track Edition the output will be raised to 570 hp. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph will be made in 3.7 seconds, and top speed will go up to 210 mph.

Also this special edition will be offered in only four colors: Matte Black, Black, White or Orange and a choice of three interior color schemes - black and red, black and purple or just black.

It goes without saying that Lexus struck gold in its first foray into the realm of the super car; a remarkable achievement considering that before the LF-A came to life, the words ’Lexus’ and ’supercar’ were as synonymous to each other as peanut butter and carrots.

Updated 03/29/2010: Lexus revealed today the official details and high res images on the special edition LF-A Nurburgring package. Lexus will only offer 50 units of this special edition.

Updated 05/10/2010: Lexus today announced prices for the new Nurburgring Package that is now available for order. The Nurburgring Package adds an extra $70,000 to the standard $375k you’ll need to pay for the LF-A and the matte black will carry an additional cost of $20,000. This limited edition LFA will be available in four exterior colors – whitest white, orange, black and matte black complemented by a choice of three interior colors – black, red, and violet.

2010 Lexus SC430 Platinum Edition

Let’s face it; after 9 years of mediocre history, Lexus is set to cut the lifeline out of the SC430. But despite its lack of success, the last set of units that will be offered for the SC430 will come as a special edition: the SC430 Platinum Edition.

This special edition will be distinguished by xenon headlights, metallic paint, a rear spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels in six-spoke design. The interior will get air conditioning, electrically adjustable seats, a big audio system with CD changer and nine speakers, and a navigation system with maps for Europe.

Lexus announced no successor for the SC430, so - for now, at least - the Lexus IS Convertible will just have to be enough.

2011 Lexus IS-F

Lexus UK revealed today the first details about the forthcoming 2011 IS-F Sports sedan. For the first time in its history, the IS-F line will be offered not just with a limited slip differential, but also new high-tech features and a cool new all-white interior lead. The car, which is available exclusively in the UK, will come with a price tag starting at £55,595.

Thanks to its new standard limited slip differential, the IS-F offers better traction and stability in high-speed cornering. But as far as technical changes are concerned, this will be the only one the IS-F Sports sedan model will come in. Underneath its hood will be the same 5.0-liter V8 engine rated at 416 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 371 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 5,200 rpm.

Another thing: the 2011 IS-F will also get a new satellite navigation system, powered by a 40GB hard disc drive (HDD), 14-speaker Mark Levinson 5.1 surround sound system and a new white leather interior in place of the standard black finish.

UPDATE 08/27/2010: Lexus has given out some new details for the IS-F just ahead of the Paris Auto Show. On the exterior, the sedan gets HID headlamps with integral, arrowhead, LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) and a new a new Starlight Black GF finish. In the interior, it gets new dark sliver fiber inserts, and a change of contrasting stitching for the leather upholstery from white to blue. A revised front seat design offers improved driver support, and a new steering wheel improves grip and feel. Check out more photos of the IS-F in the gallery

2010 Lexus LX570

In 2008, Lexus unveiled the third-generation LX, which was a luxury-based version of the Toyota Land Cruiser SUV. The 2008 LX came with a new body, a new frame and a new engine. Two years later, Lexus is bumping up the 2010 LX 570 with new technological enhancements.

The Lexus LX 570 is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 that delivers a total of 383 hp at 5,600 rpm and peak torque of 403 lb.-ft at 3,600 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a clocked 0 to 60 mph time of 7.4 seconds and a top speed that is electronically-limited to 137 mph.

2010 Lexus GX460

The Japanese luxury automaker Lexus will reveal their replacement for the GX470 luxury SUV at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show with a model called the GX460. The new full size SUV is based on the European model of Toyota’s Land Cruiser and will go on sale sometime in early 2010.

The main difference between the Land Cruiser and the GX460 is the front end appearance of the Lexus with its new grille, redesigned headlamps, new bumpers and chrome trim on the side windows and lower door moldings. Not to mention the Lexus’ luxurious interior.

Under the hood of the all new GX460, Toyota’s the current 4.7 Liter V8 is being replaced by a more efficient 4.6 Liter unit that delivers a maximum output of 310 HP and 327 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a new fuel saving six speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. One thing is certain with the all new Lexus GX460, not only will it be able to transport an entire soccer team and all their gear, but it will do it with unparalleled refinement.

2010 Lexus IS-F Circuit Club Sport Concept

The Japanese automaker Lexus unveiled a tuned version of their high performance IS-F sport sedan covered in a bright orange finish at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon. Much like the original IS-F Evolution, the Circuit Club Sport Concept focuses on dropping as much weight from the fast four door as possible to improve handling and acceleration without having to squeze any more power out of the 21st century V8. Although Lexus hasn’t disclosed exactly how many pounds were shed from the concept, with a vast assortment of items like the hood, fenders, roof, trunk, side skirts and rear diffuser all made from light weight carbon fiber, we are pretty sure that they met their quota.

On the inside, the cabin of the Circuit Club Sport Concept has also been adorned with the black baked composite material adding a bit more hardcore racer attitude to the concept IS-F with carbon fiber covering the door panels, center console, steering wheel and shifter. Meanwhile under the hood Lexus has left the 5.0 Liter V8 intact, however the addition of a lightweight free flowing exhaust system has raised output all the way up to 422 HP, more than enough to have some fun in this tuner IS-F.

2010 Lexus SC430 "The Eternal Jewel" Edition

It was June 1st, 1991. Lexus unveiled the first generation luxury SC series. The SC400 remained into production until 2001 when the second generation luxury convertible went into production. The Eternal Jewel edition will feature an extreme level of customization to both the interior & exterior color choices, including separate colors for the body and the roof and leather upholstery and wood-grain trim for the interior. Also there will be a serial number plate in the center console.

Lexus will build only 200 units of the SC430 "The Eternal Jewel" Edition.

2011 Lexus CT 200h

After we saw the Lexus LF-Ch concept at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, a model that would compete head to head with other luxury compacts like the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3 being offered exclusively as a hybrid.

The Lexus LF-Ch concept combined stylish design cues with full hybrid drive train in a practical 5 door compact package that would fulfill the needs of even the most demanding of premium compact customers with its bolder Lexus grill sitting atop a deep, bulging front bumper complete with a trio of intakes giving it a perfect balance of both precision and power. While the sharply sculpted, aerodynamic front fenders flow into the front bumper to create a wide set of arches and a deep set of brake cooling ducts that give the LF-Ch a powerful and purposeful stance.

The CT 200h’s full hybrid system combines a 1.8 liter VVT-i petrol engine, a powerful electric motor, a generator, a high performance battery, a power control unit, and a power split device which employs a planetary gear set to combine and re-allocate power from the engine, electric motor and generator according to operational requirements.

The car will make its world debut next week at the Geneva Motor Show and will enter production at the end of 2010.

2010 Lexus LS 460

For Lexus it has became a habit to refine the flagship of its line. So, for 2010, the LS460 gets revised styling, new electronics and a new optional performance-tuned Sport Package. It will be offered in four different versions, with prices starting at $65,380.
