
Ford will unveil a facelift version for their Mondeo sedan and station wagon on August 25, 2010 at the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS). The new model will go on sale in September featuring a new exterior and upgraded interior, new high-efficiency Ford EcoBoost petrol, and TDCi diesel powertrains.
On the exterior the facelift Mondeo gets new grilles featuring a bolder lower trapezoid and a slim, stylish opening above. It will also receive an enhanced bonnet profile, LED daytime running lights, re-designed rear lights with LED technology, and a new rear deck lid treatment. The interior gets a new flow-through center console design, revised door treatment featuring flush and integrated door release handles, and a new central overhead console featuring ambient lighting.
Under the hood Ford will place a 2.0-liter Ford EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine delivering 240 HP and a new 2.2-liter Ford Duratorq TDCi engine with 200 HP. Next to these two options, the facelift Mondeo will be offered with its standard engine lineup with output ranging from 115 HP to 163 HP.
