2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

Porsche has unveiled today details on the most powerful Carrera in the line-up: the Carrera GTS, offered in both coupe and convertible versions. The car will make its world debut at the Paris Motor Show in early October.

The new Carerra GTS is powered by a 3.8-liter flat engine delivering 408 HP and 420 NM of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is made in 4.2 seconds for a GTS Coupe with PDK and a Sport Chrono Package Plus in Sport Plus mode and top speed goes up to 190 mph.

The GTS version is distinguished by a SportDesign front apron with spoiler edge, painted in black, special side skirts, also in black, and the Carrera GTS logotype on doors and rear lid, in black or silver depending on the body color. The interior gets black Alcantara and high quality materials on the new three-spoke SportDesign steering wheel and on the gear and handbrake levers.
